Preguntas
I have alot of puzzling questions on my mind lately, so I decided to open them up on my blog and see what you readers had to say about them.
1 Is it me or are afternoons especially difficult for taking care of kids?
2 When do I find time for myself when I'm not too tired to do anything?
3 How do I keep my kids from fighting?
4 Is being a parent more for me or for my kids?
5 What can I do with my kids in the afternoons so we're not all going crazy?
6 When is Spring coming?
7 Do organic bananas really taste better?
8 Where is THE place to get a cute swimsuit?
9 What do you eat in the afternoon to quell a sweet tooth?
10 Minivan or SUV? (Just curious...we already have a minivan).
Thanks in advance for your answers. Have a happy Wednesday.

On the swimsuit question, I recommend LL Bean. They had modest suits (one piece or long-top tankinis), they're cute, and they're life-time guaranteed. Check out the swimwear hear: Women's Swimwear Guide.

Sorry, I don't have any answers for you just another question to add to the list. Why is it called a sweet tooth when it's not just my tooth that feels the need or a sweet but my entire body?

from what i've heard, there is no reason to buy organic bananas. the pesticides don't penetrate the peel. if that helps. oh, and minivan. all the way.

1. It is NOT you.
2. Drink a red bull and get your butt out the door.
3. You don't keep your kids from fighting, it is part of growing up.
4. Being a parent, I think, must be more for me.
5. summersaults in the grass (or snow)
6. In 9 days.
7. No. By conventional bananas and organic tomatos--now there's a huge taste improvement.
8. I saw some cute ones at J Crew but am coveting the light blue one with the tie at the neck from Anthropologie.
9. Dark chocolate.
10. Minivan all the way baby!!

Here are my answers for whatever they are worth.

1. Afternoons are terrible-no matter the age of the kids.
2. I haven't figured that one out yet.
3. I remember fighting with my siblings all the time and my mom always saying that for Christmas, Mother's Day, her birthday, whatever, all she wanted was for us all to get along.
4. Being a parent is more for us. I think it's to help us understand how to be Heavenly Parents later and understand how Heavenly Father and Mother feel now.
5. Library, the park at the Shaker Heights library is pretty good,go on a walk with an eye spy list in hand made up by your kids
6.Soon I hope.
7. I doubt it.
8.I got mine at Layers Clothing, but that's because they were dang cute and I got them cheaper because I was a stylist for them.
9.Whatever I want:) Usually cupcakes or graham crackers with frosting.
10. Minivan. If I'm spending more for gas, I want the extra room, too!

The sweet tooth thing is so hard! I bought grain sweetened chocolate chips so I wouldn't feel so bad about it since they don't have sugar. They aren't as good but they're still pretty good! The swimsuit thing too, anything decent you have to pay like a hundred dollars for!

1. the hour before dinner is DEFINITELY a nightmare

3. my kids don't fight yet. jared just sits on dallin. anyway, my sister told me that she doesn't intervene unless her kids are going to do permanent damage

5. I'm still working on this one...sort lids or rocks or dominoes in a muffin tin, paint with paintbrushes and water, make a tent over the table, or you can just be bored out of your mind like me

9. I pour myself a huge glass of milk and then, depending on how big my craving is, i add a little (or tons of)chocolate mix.

Afternoons are so hard for entertaining the kids and keeping the sweet tooth at bay!

Right now, Shade is having a buy one piece, and get the second piece half off. There is a suit that I've had my eye on for a few weeks, and I think I just may get it now! They have some really cute new stuff in right now. Modbe (modbeclothing.com) always has really cute swim suits too.

Minivan all the way.

Here's my two cents:

1. I 100% agree! Afternoons are rough!
2. That's a tricky one! I sometime impose a forced "quiet time" after lunch. That's about when Mommy needs a time out.
3. Let me know when you figure this one out!
4. Being a parent is definitly more for me. I need the lessons in patience, love, charity, humility, sacrifice, etc. etc.
5. I'm dying for the weather to warm up so that we can get out to the playground again!
6. Amen, sister!
7. I doubt it...but I'm a real sceptic of the whole "organic" thing.
8. I LOVE the swimsuits at Modbe and Shade. If only I had the money...
9. frozen chocolate chips!
10. Minivan

This is a fun post! I want to go back and read everyone else's answers now!

I don't have answers to all of them, but here are some of my thoughts:
2. before my kids wake up in the morning; but I can't say you won't be "tired" when you've been up at night with the baby!
5. refer to Kendra Wirig's boredom busters (http://wirigs.blogspot.com/2008/01/boredom-buster-4.html) or go here: http://wirigs.blogspot.com/2007/12/boredom-buster-2.html (I guess just copy and paste them in)
7. I don't know about organic but I KNOW that Hawaii bananas taste better!
8. If you haven't tried already, you HAVE to invest the money in a modbe or shade swimsuit. Go to www.modbeclothing.com or www.shadeclothing.com.
9. protein bars
10. mini van
