The Laboring Hands of Labor Day
Finn and Lucy got in a wrestling match over a pair of blue cars. You can guess by the picture who kept the cars in the end. Poor Lucy! I worked on these pillows throughout the day, except I didn't make the birdie one (isn't it cute though?). Travis studied most of the day, except for when we went and watched him fly his airplanes last night. I could've stayed out in that field for a long time. The temperature was perfect, the crickets were making music and trying to crawl up my pantlegs, and we were surrounded by trees. But, then again, I am perfectly content to be at home, so maybe all I needed was a little break.

sarah-it's a little alarming (and jerry springer like) how you photograph your kids beating each other up. you know though, it's a much more accurate depiction of childhood. along with those first- day-of-school-smiles, i guess you've got to have some shots from the school of hard knocks. :)
