Craving Crafts?

I couldn't pass up this sweet baby photo montage at a yard sale a couple weekends ago. I want to take pictures of the upcoming baby in similar fashion and replace the ones in the picture with them.
So what do you do with clearance frames from Target? When you have a huge church craft activity to plan, you think of cheap (free) treatments.
The artsy-fartsy.
The letter-loving mother.

The hip girlie one.

Endless options!

And, I've had cake plates on the brain too lately.

Do you like this one? Fancy-schmancy one?
Or this one? The plain sophisticate?
Did you know you make these by adhering a candlestick to a plate?
Simple. Affordable. Classic.

Cute ideas with the frames. Here are a couple more ideas:

Okay, I couldn't find the other link I was looking for, but a couple weeks ago, I came across a crafty type blog where the person had just framed scrapbook paper in a plain black frame (a few of them), and just hung it on the walls for decoration. Cheap, cute, easily changeable.

What do you use to adhere glass to glass?
I'll bet you can guess I am not the craftiest girl on the block.
I like plain sophisticate best too.

Stephanie,

I use clear epoxy. It also helps if you sand both surfaces to be glued together. Good luck!

I just found your blog and I love it! Way fun stuff! You'll have to come over and teach me how to make my plain one at least look better. You've inspired me. Plus, you'll have to help me make some cute frames like those!
